The Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca covers hundreds of kilometres of coast, from just south of the city of Valencia to Torrevieja in the Southern Costa Blanca. The capital, of the Costa Blanca, Alicante is in the central coastal area and its airport provides exceptionally easy access, to profitable Spanish Investment Property, from the UK and Europe.

Murcia, also has an airport and there is a further, the privately owned Corvera airport – due to open in 2008/9, which will be serving a comprehensive range of UK and European low-cost airlines. This makes investing in Costa Blanca property even more appealing and, as you would expect given the proximity of this major new facility, the region is currently expanding rapidly. Several new off plan golf property developments are underway, some of which include their own prestigious golf and country clubs.

The Costa Blanca is renowned for a warm, temperate climate that provides plenty of sunshine and good year-round temperatures; so it is not hard to see why Costa Blanca property is so highly sought after by golfers, holidaymakers, international residents and property investors alike.

The northern stretch of Costa Blanca includes the popular holidaymaker destinations of Denia, Javea, Calpe, Altea and Benidorm. Benidorm, with several high rises apartment blocks and hotels is a busy coastal resort tourist, but within 15 minutes there are picturesque coves, beautiful beaches and charming marinas to watch the world go by. Journey inland a few kilometres and you will be surrounded by hillsides and natural parks adorned with trees of almonds, oranges
and olives.

The southern stretch of Costa Blanca is a beautiful stretch of coastline that runs from Alicante to San Pedro del Pinatar, Cabo Roig and Campoamor. The bustling city of Torrevieja has become popular with British expats and offers plenty to keep visitors happily entertained. South of Torrevieja, there is a mix of charming fishing villages, vibrant towns, traditional ports, nature reserves, excellent golf courses and beaches.
